An Anterior Cervical Plate System is a specialized spinal implant designed to stabilize the cervical spine following anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) procedures. The plate is secured to the adjacent vertebral bodies with screws, providing immediate mechanical stability and maintaining proper spinal alignment. By supporting the bone graft and the fusion process, it helps restore cervical spine stability and integrity, reduce motion at the operated segment, and promote solid bony fusion. Anterior cervical plates are commonly used in the treatment of degenerative disc disease, cervical spondylosis, trauma, and spinal deformities, offering surgeons a reliable solution for achieving long‑term stability and fusion success.

Product DESCRIPTION

The CERVELOCK™ Anterior Cervical Plate System by Siora Surgicals Pvt. Ltd. is a precision‑engineered spinal fixation solution designed to stabilize the cervical spine following anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) procedures.

Manufactured from high‑quality, biocompatible Titanium (Ti‑6Al‑4V ELI), the CERVELOCK™ system combines strength, durability, and excellent imaging compatibility. It features a low‑profile 2.0 mm thick design that minimizes soft tissue irritation, while multiple screw options provide secure fixation to adjacent vertebral bodies.

The plates are available in lengths ranging from 19 mm to 93 mm, accommodating one‑ to four‑level segments of fixation. The system offers self‑tapping and self‑drilling screw options with diameters of 3.5 mm and 4.0 mm, available in lengths ranging from 12 mm to 20 mm, in 2 mm increments. This versatility allows surgeons to select the optimal construct for each patient’s anatomy and surgical requirements.

Designed for ease of application and reliable fixation, the CERVELOCK™ Anterior Cervical Plate System helps improve surgical outcomes and patient recovery. Backed by stringent manufacturing standards, Siora Surgicals ensures consistent quality and reliable clinical performance.

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. Precision Titanium Construction

  • Manufactured from high-quality, biocompatible Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI), offering excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and imaging compatibility for long-term clinical performance.

2. Temporary Fixation Support

  • Temporary Fixation Pin Holes: Dedicated cranial and caudal holes allow secure placement of temporary fixation pins, enabling stable plate positioning prior to final screw insertion.

3. Advanced Locking Mechanism

  • Locking Clip System: Secures screw heads and prevents loosening, providing up to 126 N pull-out resistance for reliable fixation and enhanced surgical safety.

4. Optimized Screw Drive Interface

  • TORX 15 Star Profile: Six-point star-shaped interface ensures superior torque transmission, secure driver engagement, and reduced risk of cam-out or screw head stripping.
  • TORX 06 Star Profile: Compact interface in the locking clip enables precise engagement to secure screws and prevent back-out.

5. Enhanced Surgical Handling & Instrumentation

  • Plate Holder Configuration: Threaded holder hole allows firm instrument attachment, ensuring secure grip, precise alignment, and controlled handling during implantation.

6. Low-Profile & Dual Thickness Design

  • Dual Thickness Profile: 2.0 mm at primary fixation zones for strength and 1.8 mm at intermediate sections to reduce bulk.
  • Low-Profile Design: Minimizes soft tissue irritation, reduces esophageal contact, and enhances patient comfort.

7. Flexible Screw Configuration

  • Fixed & Variable Angle Options: Enables surgeons to create rigid, semi-rigid, or hybrid constructs, providing stability with controlled flexibility to match patient anatomy.

8. Anatomical Contouring & Lordotic Design

  • Anatomical Lordotic Curvature: Designed to match natural cervical lordosis, improving anatomical fit and reducing the need for intraoperative plate bending.
CLINICAL INDICATIONS

The CERVELOCK™ Anterior Cervical Plate System is indicated for the treatment of cervical spine conditions using an anterior approach, specifically designed for use between C3 and C7, including:

1. Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) with Cervical Instability

  • Disc degeneration leading to pain, reduced disc height, and instability requiring stabilization and fusion.

2. Cervical Spondylosis

  • Age‑related degenerative changes causing instability, nerve compression, and pain, managed with anterior cervical fixation.

3. Cervical Trauma

  • Fractures or injuries to cervical vertebrae requiring stabilization and reconstruction.

4. Revision Procedures / Failed Previous Surgery

  • Persistent or recurrent symptoms following prior cervical procedures, requiring stabilization and fusion.

5. Pseudarthrosis or Cervical Deformities (e.g., Kyphosis, Scoliosis)

  • Non‑union after prior fusion or abnormal curvatures requiring corrective stabilization and fusion.
